How much money do I invest? Is there a minimum?
You can invest as much as you like. While we do consider a minimum investment to be $50,000, exceptions can be made.   

Is there a specific term, like a CD, or is it like a checking account, or stocks?
Our investment opportunities are more akin to Certificates of Deposit, or CDs.  The term is typically 6 or 12 months, but some 3 year notes are available. 

Can I add or remove money during the term if the investment?
Gold Country Lenders has been able to help in these circumstances, making substitutions of one investors' money for another.

What if nobody borrows my money?
This isn't a factor, since Gold Country Lenders has prospective borrowers available at any time. 

How do you choose projects for my money?
We choose all projects very carefully, examining all aspects of the construction project or real estate venture proposed. As our rate of return business is so high, we're able to select from the best clients and continue our business relationships with them.

Is the interest variable or is it fixed?
The rate is fixed, as it is tied to the loan itself. 

How does GCL get such a high rate of return on investments?
Because our investors' money is used to extend construction loans, which carry a higher rate of interest than traditional loans, the rate of return passed to our investors is also high.
